Rice
Rice is an important part of our diet for nearly 1/3 of the world population making it the most consumed cereal grain. We export rice to many countries across the globe from all major ports in India.
It is eaten as essential food in many parts of Asia. It is basically categorized into long grain, medium grain, 100% broken and Parboiled used for direct consumption as well as for sweet dishes. There are many varieties of rice and fall under two categories Basmati and Non Basmati.
Basmati Rice are Pusa 1121, 1509, Sugandha, etc and comes with three or more varieties namely Steam, Golden, White Sella. Non Basmati range is bigger and have many kinds PR11, IR64, Swarna, Sona Masoori, Mansuri, Sonam, Kolam, 100% Broken etc. Non Basmati comes with different varieties Parboiled, Raw (White), Steam.
